This track was written many years ago as a response to those struggling with thoughts of suicide, depression and self harm through the vantage point of conceptual story. This acoustic version was recorded specifically to be put on a suicide prevention compilation. During the recording process we determined the track needed more depth and “another point of view” we asked our friend Danielle To be that. When the compilation this was intended for never fully unfolded the song was left in a drive and almost forgotten. Recent tragic events have made it glaring that her contributions to the track are regrettably limited, however her impactful performance transcends the original song writing beyond its own merits. Hence it would be a disservice to her memory and all those that knew her to keep this to ourselves any longer.
